Professional Negligence
If your client considers they have suffered poor service and incurred loss, from previous professional advisers, we have a Professional Negligence team to assist in redressing that loss. Whether their action is against solicitors, barristers, accountants, surveyors, architects or financial advisers, we have the right person to advise.
Claims of Professional Negligence involve serious reputational issues. Our team possesses the necessary knowledge, skill and attention to detail to bring about a successful resolution. This is a complex area of law and we have a high level of knowledge and understanding of the regulations, codes of conduct and standards related to a large range of professionals.
Solicitor negligence is a key area of our work. We have considerable experience handling cases of negligence in the litigation of Property, Probate, Family, Employment and Personal Injury matters. We have the advantage that most of our team have previous experience of working in firms of solicitors. They know what the duties, requirements and practices of a solicitor should be.
Our team are able to act for both Individuals and companies on a number of funding options. This includes on a private basis, through a Legal Expenses Insurer and on a Conditional Fee Agreement where appropriate. Our members are commercially astute, giving practical, realistic advice from the outset and embracing alternative ways to resolve the dispute such as mediation.
Whilst the team are able to assist in cases of Solicitor negligence in the litigation of a Clinical Negligence matters, Queen Square Chambers has a specialist team dedicated to handling claims involving Medical Professionals.
