Naisha Hussain
Following the completion of pupillage on the South-Eastern Circuit, Naisha joined Queen Square Chambers in 2023 practising solely in Family Law.
With a particular focus on Private Law proceedings, Counsel progressed swiftly to more complex instructions including those involving international elements, sexual abuse of children, complex medical conditions, removal of parental responsibility and serious domestic violence. Bringing a calm, practical approach to her cases, Naisha is able to ensure clients feel at ease, feeling fully understood and represented. Counsel also accepts instructions in cases featuring allegations of domestic abuse and coercive control where she utilises the above skills to guide some of the most vulnerable clients through proceedings.
Also practising in Care proceedings, prior to pupillage Counsel worked as a Legal Assistant at Gloucestershire County Council Legal Services, ensuring an in-depth knowledge of the practicalities of Care matters. Naisha has been able to couple this knowledge with her exemplary client care skills, ably assisting vulnerable clients through difficult circumstances.
Counsel also accepts instructions in suitable Matrimonial Finances matters where she intends to build further experience, developing this area of expertise.
Naisha enjoys the collaborative, fluid nature of family law and excels in advocating for those faced with proceedings affecting their family life and well-being.
