Recent cases

R v M – George has recently been instructed to defend an Attempt Murder in Bristol Crown Court due for trial in late 2019.

R v R – Successful prosecution of man charged with a GBH sec.18 after an altercation resulting in multiple stab wounds with a samurai sword.

R v W – Defence of an ex-school teacher charged with sexual assaults on his students from over 20+ years ago.

R v D & others – Fraud – George played a part in the defence team of this case. This was a large, multi-million, multi-handed fraud case brought by means of a private prosecution. George’s client was acquitted of all charges whilst others within the case were convicted.

R v P & others – George defended 1 of 10 charged within a conspiracy to supply class A & B drugs around Bristol.

R v F & others – Defence of a man charged along with others with almost 40 counts of offences relating to sexual activity/Rape of multiple children. The trial ran for 7 weeks.

R v L – Defence of a man through a 6-day trial after he was charged with sexual activity with a 12-year-old girl.

R v A – George prosecuted a man after a brutal assault in Southampton. The defendant left the victim with a long list of injuries including laceration to spleen, multiple (six) fractured ribs (front and back) on left side, fractured spine, haematoma to ureter and partial collapses on both lungs. After 7 days of trial George successfully gained a conviction on the defendant.

R v W – George prosecuted a man who was charged with managing a Brothel in Bristol.
