Steve Freeman
Complaints Officer
With a wealth of knowledge and experience gained over many years in addressing the needs and expectations of both professional and lay clients, Steve has overall responsibility for ensuring they receive the highest levels of service standards. This will include the relevant clerk being able to provide objective guidance in the selection of the most appropriate barrister for the job in hand and in respect of the appropriate fee to be applied.
Steve has been at the forefront of the many successful tendering processes undertaken and takes pride in the sometimes delicate balance of professionalism and pragmatism that permeates throughout the organisation and has become a fundamental part of its ethos. This approach applies to both barristers and clerks and in all that they do an effort is made to adopt a model that mirrors that utilised by those instructing rather than assuming that ‘we know best’.
In his personal life Steve is an avid motorcyclist who tours extensively every year throughout the UK and Europe. He also enjoys walking the hills and mountains which surround his home in the beautiful Brecon Beacons and, just as much so, the liquid refreshment that often follows!
