Méabh has swiftly developed a reputation for her detailed approach to cases leading to well-constructed arguments that often ensure the best practicable outcome. This, coupled with a focus on client care, have earned her plaudits for her handling of cases beyond her year of Call.

In advocacy Méabh is pointed and determined, cutting to the core issues in a case and fully representing her Client’s position. When providing advice, whether in conference or written, Counsel is able to quickly synthesise complex claims whilst appreciating the importance of the case to the Client, to facilitate a productive discussion on the best path forward.

Prior to competing pupillage at Queen Square Chambers (supervised by James Bromige and Mark Williams), Méabh worked as a construction and infrastructure paralegal in a Solicitors’ firm based in London and volunteered at the Free Representation Unit with a focus on Employment. This background provided an insight to the pressures faced by File Handlers and Solicitors, ensuring Méabh works closely with those instructing.

In her spare time Méabh enjoys cold water swimming. She saves her most passionate advocacy for when discussing the prospects of the Irish rugby team at major tournaments.
