New tenants for Queen Square Chambers

Queen Square Chambers are delighted to announce that following the completion of their pupillage, Charlotte Evans, Ieuan Callaghan and Méabh McGee have been made full tenants.

Having experienced pupillage in a pandemic, all three have excelled on their feet in Magistrates, County and Crown Court and have become valued members of the Queen Square team.

Ieuan Callaghan 

Supervised by James Tucker and Chris Smyth, Ieuan has thrived since undertaking his own advocacy, proving himself to be an effective, persuasive advocate. He was instruced as a noting Junior in the Prosecution of grime artist Solo 45. Undertaking instructions across a range of areas, clients appreciate Ieuan’s appraochable but authoratitive manner.

Méabh McGee

A detailed approach to cases has earned Méabh praise for both her Advocacy and her written Advices. Supervised by James Bromige and Mark Williams, Meabh is regularly instructed in a range of Employment matters from Prelim through to Final Hearing. She has also been regularly instructed in Family and Criminal cases.

Charlotte Evans

Undertaking Criminal, Civil and Family instructions, Charlotte has swiftly forged a reputation as accomplished Counsel. Noted for her ability to assist vulnerable Clients through proceedings, Charlotte has earned repeat instructions due to her attentive manner. As a pupil, Charlotte was supervised by Ian Halliday and James Tucker.
