Georgia Pryer
Georgia was made tenant at Queen Square Chambers having undertaken a specialist Pupillage, supported by the Butterfield Scholarship focusing on publicly funded areas of work. Having been supervised by James Tucker and Ruth Armstrong Georgia was able to see a wide variety of criminal and family hearings.
Since being on her feet, Counsel has been regularly instructed in Crown Court matters assisting with a range of hearings including appeals and PTPH’s. Georgia has conducted multiple Magistrates Court trials.
In the Family Court Georgia has acted regularly in Domestic Violence and Children Act Proceedings. Counsel also accepts instructions in Care matters.
Prior to Pupillage, Georgia volunteered with the Schools Consent Project delivering legal workshops to sixth formers on consent. She also worked as a market researcher obtaining feedback from clients about their experience using legal services. This has given her a greater understanding of the importance of communicating with the client and making sure they feel heard.
She has also achieved success at university and national moots and received an Advocacy Scholarship for her Bar Course.
